I'm a true Abba fan, I go to Sweden, for the Abba get-to-gether!Every year I attend Pontins Abba week end at Hemsby.
Bjorn Again are No. 1. But I and many friends would put Abbagirls at No 2. This year at Hemsby's Abba weekend The Abbagirls stormed the night, way ahead of all the full bands. My friend saw the abbababes in Ipswich recently, and said they are OK, but not in the same class as Abbagirls or BA or many of the other top tributes.
So Brian you obviously do not know what you are talking about! and you claim to book acts and you are a prominent booker! I dont think so.

With reference to Brian Russells comments. I wrote the message on the 21st October. I have seen both acts, and a lot more full abba bands. Believe me Abbagirls are pure class.
Brian if you are an agent? you should really listen to acts. How can you book acts with out hearing them? It does not say much for your agency!
With reference to Abbagirls leaving messages on their message board, I would hardly think they are worried about another act? The Abbagirls are with out any doubt one of the UK's class tribute shows.

Dear Brian, Thank you for your comments, but as a booker of both public and corporate events shouldn't you listen to what the paying custorers are saying? With regards to the Abbababes, although we have not seen them perform, we find them great guy's and very friendly to get on with. And yes the Abba tribute market is flooded and only the better act's will survive! This is our seventh year! Over 1300 gigs! in 15 diffent countries world wide! With a great year next year! Ladies, that was the best show we have ever seen at our humble club in Ilford on Saturday. Top class, brilliant, just had to let you know.

I refer to the message posted from "Mr & Mrs Angry" ref: 21 October in Norwich.
I think the comments regarding the other "Abba" tribute, "Abbababes" utterly appalling and completely without foundation.
As a prominent booker of both public and corporate entertainment throughout East Anglia and the Home Counties I have booked "Abbabes" on a number of occasions and have always found their performance totally first-class and professional with nothing but good reports feeding back following their shows.
Perhaps leaving such detrimental and adverse comments about a rival act on your message board is good for the ego and elevates the status of "Abbagirls" in what is already a heavily flooded and over-populated market.

Hiya Jayne, nice to hear from you, we really enjoyed working at your wedding, The Belfry is such a cool place.
We have been back to Birmingham twice recently, The Metropole & The Botanical Gardens. Another two really nice gigs. We have a few gigs in for next year in Brum, I'll let you know.

Finally saw your show at the Brentwood centre on Saturday. Simply awesome, what a stage and what a crowd, braved all the wet elements. Well done girls, with out any doubt the best act to the great band. See you in Norwich in December.
To the organisers Well done a brill night, loved Harry Potter with the live owls! Awesome night.

Brentwood gig was fab, i was also there last year. The paper said to expect 30,000, but i think the rain kept loads away. But we got there early to get near the front. I love the way Abbagirls done does your mother know.
