ABBA The Reunion - ITV changed the title to get more people to tune in I suppose, all that marketing! - but it still came up with the regular title during breaks Super Troupers 30 years of ABBA so we fans always knew it was the DVD release, who knows after last night there could be a rush on ABBA releases. And see the Abbagirls too!

Frida looked stunning and it was wonderful to hear what she had to say, Agnetha spoke in a mixture of Swedish & English and got a plug in for her album. There were one or two video clips that i loved in A1 condition - better than what I have in my video collection - and overall it made a great nights viewing. One or two contradictions but nothing significant. I did love the People need love clip and the Made in Sweden clip too of Mamma Mia.

The only downside, Pete Waterman. Several years ago he referred to ABBA being a manufactured band and that Stig decide to put 2 boys & 2 girls together. And that comment put me off him forever as a person.

Anyone else see the TV special? Would love to read your comments. The DVD release of the special has an extra 30 minutes footage.

By the way I have some ABBA items that I'm selling. If you want to receive a list please e-mail me personally
Kathryn

Enjoyed your performance at the BMW launch in Redhill last night but you waited until the very end to play my own personal favourite "Thank you for my Music". All the best for the future.

We were in attendance at BBC Child Line Appeal. The Ballroom, Millennium Hotel, Grosvenor Square, Mayfair, London. Friday 10th September.
Ladies we take our hat off to you on a performance of the highest quality. As well as the looks, sound, costumes of the great Abba you have taken your act to a world class cabaret show. After we raised plenty of folding for the appeal it was a pleasure to be entertained by you.
We would strongly without any hesitation recommend you for any function.
Continued success to you.

Dear Abba Girls,
We saw you last night at The Globe in Tamworth and I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your performance as it was a really superb evening and a wonderful atmosphere. I went home with a real buzz knowing I had seen a really professional act. THANKYOU and I hope to see YOU again in Tamworth really soon.

Hi AbbaGirls, Colin & everyone on the mailing list. Anyway important news. For the UK Tuesday 21st September. The ABBA TV Special 'Super Troupers' will be screened on ITV at 9.00pm. 30 years of ABBA 5 years of Mamma Mia! etc and all 4 ABBA Members interviewed. It will followed with the special being released on DVD soon after.

And for anyone who is on the list from Australia Channel 7 will be having their own ABBA night on Friday 25th September. First TV special to be screened is 'Super Troupers' followed by 'ABBA Rebjorn'(thanks to John for getting that bit of info for me). So get those video recorders set.! All the best. Kathryn

Hello,
Just a note to say it was great working on the same bill on Saturday night on the outdoor gig in Maidestone, Kent. Luckily the rain kept away but the audience turned up in large numbers. This was the first time I had worked with the Abba Girls, but I truly hope it wont be the last. Not only were they fab performers but two of the nicest people I and hubby Les have met in the business. Can I be crafty and plug my website at www.tinaturnertribute.net.
Anyway really hope to see and work with you girls again,
Love
Tina
